Les BAFTA TV Awards 2021 ont été annoncés par la British Academy of Film and Television Arts pour honorer les meilleures contributions britanniques et internationales à la société cinématographique le 6 juin. Conformément aux protocoles de Covid-19, l’événement s’est déroulé en mode hybride, où seuls les les nominés des catégories principales ont été autorisés à être présents sur le site tandis que d’autres se sont joints à eux virtuellement depuis leur domicile. Richard Ayoade a animé l’événement. I May Destroy You, la mini-série dramatique de BBC et HBO a remporté le prix de la meilleure mini-série, avec son actrice principale, Michael Coel, remportant le prix de la meilleure actrice pour son rôle principal dans la même émission. Pour sa performance dans Normal People, Paul Mescal a reçu le prix du meilleur acteur.
